Randall Construction Prefabrication is currently seeking a top-tier Structural Welder to work in our Shop. We are excited about this important role and are determined to consider the best and brightest candidates who meet our requirements.

Position Summary

At Randall Construction, the Structural Welder will be responsible for performing high-quality welding tasks using stick and MIG welding techniques. This role involves working with various metals, interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, and ensuring welds meet our rigorous standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding operations on various metals, mainly steel.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to determine specifications and requirements.
  • Set up and operate welding equipment and tools, including grinders and cutting torches.
  • Inspect and measure completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including regular maintenance of welding equipment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Understanding of welding equipment and able to troubleshoot welding equipment as needed.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Experience with MIG welding operations on various metals, mainly steel.
  • Communication skills (can speak to people in a professional environment).
  • Time conscious (can be on time and efficient).
  • Demonstrate dependability, flexibility, and teamwork.
  • Ability to pass drug screen and reference check.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to adhere to, implement, and follow safety procedures at all times.
  • Ability to work well with others.

Physical Requirements

This is primarily a Shop or Field Jobsite job. You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job, be able to respond quickly to sounds, see and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protective gear.
