Position Summary
We are currently seeking a Lead Transmission Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be integral to our electric transmission design group, overseeing a variety of projects that range from straightforward assignments to intricate transmission line designs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor engineering teams in the creation of utility engineering designs, including cost assessments and client invoicing.
  • Oversee the engineering components of diverse projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
  • Provide guidance to junior engineers on engineering standards such as NESC, NEC, and ASCE.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Facilitate effective communication with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with various departments to establish and implement engineering best practices.
  • Maintain and cultivate relationships with existing clients while exploring new business opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural or Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Power Transmission Design.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Proficient in industry-standard software including PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in leading engineering teams and managing resources efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical direction within the field.
