Are you dedicated to facilitating access to essential healthcare services? We invite you to consider the role of an Outreach and Enrollment Navigator.

Position Overview:

As an Outreach and Enrollment Navigator at TAPM, you will be instrumental in assisting patients as they navigate the healthcare landscape, helping them secure health coverage, and linking them with community support services to eliminate barriers to care. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

  • Guiding patients through sliding fee applications, Medicaid enrollment, and ACA open enrollment periods
  • Educating individuals about various insurance options and available healthcare services
  • Identifying and connecting patients with resources for financial aid, transportation, and housing assistance
  • Engaging in community outreach initiatives to inform patients about available services
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes

Essential Qualifications:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in healthcare, community outreach, or a related field
  • Bilingual candidates (English/Spanish) are preferred

Skills and Training:

We welcome applicants who possess proficiency in Microsoft Office, outstanding communication abilities, and the capacity to work autonomously. Additional qualifications include:

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with electronic health record systems

Analytical Skills:

Ability to manage routine tasks with meticulous attention to detail and make informed decisions in accordance with established practices.

Independent Judgment:

Perform duties under general supervision, escalating complex cases to the supervisor as necessary.

Work Environment:

Operate in a business office setting with moderate noise levels and the requirement to travel locally.

Ability to stand, sit, communicate, and operate a computer with agility.
