Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Pelvic Health Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the growth and development of our Physical Therapy department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pelvic health, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering personalized care to patients with pelvic health concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with pelvic health issues, including pelvic pain, incontinence, and postpartum recovery.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, utilizing manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and biofeedback.
- Educate patients on pelvic floor muscle training, lifestyle modifications, and self-care strategies to improve their quality of life.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care and support.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with advancements in pelvic health physical therapy.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- 6 months relevant experience
- Licensed to practice in Physical Therapy in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification
