Job Summary:
Lakeside Health & Wellness is seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Skilled Nursing. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and rehabilitation services to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy and related services to patients in accordance with the principles and practices of occupational therapy.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Supervise and mentor Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and Rehabilitation Technicians as needed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
- Experience in Skilled Nursing or similar healthcare settings.
- Valid Occupational Therapist state license (Texas).
- Proficiency in Net Health Rehab as the primary operating software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
