Key Responsibilities:
- Provide basic patient care, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and phlebotomy.
- Assist with activities of daily living, such as meals, ambulation, and hygiene.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure effective patient care and communication.
- Participate in educational programs and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required; MA or PCT or CNA or DD214 or 2 sem nurs schl or UNMH Tech preferred.
- 1 year of directly related experience; bilingual English/Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo a plus.
- CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers certification required within 30 days.
Working Conditions:
- Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people.
- Significant Hazard: Chemicals, Bio Hazardous Materials require PPE.
