We are seeking an experienced Information Technology Manager to lead our technology infrastructure and systems operations team at Midwest Sterilization Corporation. As the Technology Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of our systems, collaborating with various departments to identify and implement technology solutions that align with our business goals, and ensuring the security and integrity of our network and server infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the Information Technology, Software Engineering, Programming, and PLC Engineering departments, acting as a liaison between those departments and upper leadership.
- Create and manage capital project budgets, working closely with the Corporate Project Manager to execute various continuous improvement projects.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance department to ensure all necessary documentation is completed to meet ISO/FDA requirements.
- Maintain company network and server infrastructure, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.
- Prevent cyber security issues and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Create continuous improvement plans to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.
Requirements:
- A four-year degree in Software Engineering or Information Technology, or relevant work experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or PLC programming, with a strong understanding of all three fields.
- Experience with in-house software development, familiarity with the software development life cycle, and exposure to a variety of programming languages.
- Understanding of network systems, server equipment, internet security, and data privacy.
- Allen Bradley PLC experience, HMI Screen Development experience, and FactoryTalk Site Edition experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to implement continuous improvements and willingness to travel.
