Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Avionics Technician to join our team at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electronic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical leadership and expertise in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electronic systems.
  2. Develop and implement process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule without compromising Safety or Quality.
  3. Train and mentor personnel to support company cross-training goals.
  4. Ensure quality and efficiency of all installations, troubleshoot, and teach troubleshooting processes.
  5. Oversee the performance and compliance with engineering changes and modifications.
  6. Set up and operate necessary test equipment, conduct functional and operational tests.
  7. Enforce company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations.

Requirements:

  1. High School Diploma or GED required.
  2. 6 years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field or 2 years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and 4 years related experience.
  3. A & P license, FCC license, or NCATT certification preferred.
  4. Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  5. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
