We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team at NOW Healthcare Recruiting (NP Now) in the Canton, OH area. This is a full-time position working in an outpatient setting.

About the Role

As a PMHNP, you will work closely with another Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatrist to provide high-quality care to an underserved patient population. Your primary focus will be on trauma care, making a significant impact in the lives of your patients by offering hope and help.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Counsel patients and families on mental health issues and provide education on wellness strategies
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Be a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
  • Have 2+ years of experience working as a PMHNP in an outpatient setting
  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Benefits
