Key Responsibilities:- Administer manual physical exercises and instruct patients in non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities.
- Assess and interpret evaluations and test results to determine physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians.
- Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements.
- Follow up with home health orthopedic patients, continue to meet eligibility requirements for home health services, and perform maintenance therapy.
- Drive to patient locations as required.
- Graduation from an accredited Assistant Therapy Assistant Program.
- In-state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- At least 1 year of home health experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Strong caring interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean DMV record.
