Eastridge is collaborating with a distributor of metal products in its search for a 2nd Shift Industrial Equipment Maintenance Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and maintain the reliability, performance, and lifespan of machinery.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to address identified mechanical issues.
  • Install machinery and equipment as required.
  • Identify and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions effectively.
  • Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications accurately.
  • Contribute to the selection of various project equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to OHSA and Company EHS standards during the installation and operation of new machinery.
  • Assess, recommend, and implement instrumentation and connectivity projects for our equipment.
  • Evaluate, propose, and engage in automation initiatives for our operations.
  • Proactively manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

  • Professional diploma in industrial mechanics or electromechanics.
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance is preferred.
  • Proficient in welding, assembly, disassembly, and handling heavy machinery.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Demonstrated ingenuity, dynamism, resourcefulness, and independence.
  • Ability to tolerate visual elements and odors.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Capability to maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
