About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Behavioral Health Therapist to join our dynamic team at Brightview Health. As a Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in providing evidence-based therapy to individuals seeking support for substance abuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clinical Care: Plan and conduct group therapy sessions, patient intake assessments, and treatment planning. Provide crisis and de-escalation techniques, establish treatment plans, and consistently provide independent therapy sessions.
  • Coordination and Collaboration: Coordinate patient care with the onsite multidisciplinary team, attend required meetings, and carry a caseload of patients.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Timely and comprehensively document treatment data into the electronic patient health record, ensuring adherence to regulatory and company compliance requirements.
  • Training and Mentorship: Provide training and onboarding support for new hire Counselor I and offer training, onboarding, and mentorship support for new hire counselors.
Requirements
  • 1+ year experience as Counselor I or other relevant experience
  • Active clinical licensure consistent with state-level regulatory requirements
  • Licensure preferred: LSW, LPC, MFT, LPCC, LICDC, LISW, LMFT
