At DHA CPAs, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and planning tax returns for our clients. You will also be responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing engagements, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses
  • Manage client relationships and oversee engagements
  • Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients
  • Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations and apply knowledge to client engagements
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve firm goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in public accounting or related field
  • Experience with tax preparation software (CCH Axcess Tax preferred)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in all Microsoft Office 365 applications
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks (online & desktop)
  • Experience using digital workpapers in a paperless environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPA or EA certification, or aspiring to achieve certification
