Cash Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a detail-oriented Cash Accounting Clerk to join our team at Snowshoe Mountain Resort. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for completing various daily cash accounting processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.

• Prepare cash deposits by auditing receipts, completing deposit tickets, and documenting each deposit.
• Audit and prepare funds by verifying and organizing cash for change funds, check cash storage, and documenting safety.
• Issue funds by managing change funds and Snowshoe Cares vouchers; log and sign out funds.
• Confirm collections by matching Public Safety lists with actual collections and verifying bank deposits.
• Handle vending collections by counting vending machine revenue, completing reports, and depositing the company's share.
• Report issues by alerting the Cash Accounting Supervisor or Finance Director about potential abuse or theft.

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6 months of cashier or bank teller experience preferred
• Strong cash verification skills and attention to detail
