Key Responsibilities- Oversee all kitchen staff and ensure food preparation meets quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and ensure all kitchen equipment is operational.
- Supervise proper breakdown, rotation, labeling, dating, and storage of food items.
- Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as required.
- Work proactively to manage food costs within the parameters set by culinary leadership.
- Collaborate with team members and restaurant managers to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Minimum of two years' experience as a line cook, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead in a fast-paced setting.
- Detail-oriented and attentive to quality.
- Basic math skills to understand and follow recipe measurements and proportions.
- Manual dexterity sufficient for food preparation tasks.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items, up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
Evening shifts, on-call, split shifts, overnight shifts, holidays, and weekends as needed.
