Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a Licensed Professional, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic and treatment services to individuals and their families who have or who are suspected of having mental health, substance abuse or intellectual disability problems.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough interviews with individuals and/or family members to obtain critical information and provide written documentation of the same.
  2. Formulate accurate DSM diagnoses based on the information obtained.
  3. Provide therapeutic interventions using various counseling techniques and modalities, including individual, collateral, group, and/or family therapy.
  4. Document all necessary chart work in accordance with agency policy on admissions, treatment, and discharges in a timely manner.
  5. Maintain confidentiality according to agency policies under HIPPA and FERPA.
  6. Provide information, referral, and linkage with area resources and agencies.
  7. Remain current in knowledge of community resources and how to access those resources.
  8. Keep supervisors informed of all critical or potential emergency situations.
  9. Respond to emergency/crisis or walk-in situations calmly, rationally, and in accordance with agency policy and procedures.
  10. Provide consultation and education services to the community as requested by supervisor/administration.
  11. Attend and participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings and in-service trainings as needed.
  12. Attend IEP/504 meetings as needed.

  11. Follow all Frontier Health rules, policies, and procedures as well as applicable laws and standards.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience and location.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have a Master's degree in mental health related area and eligibility to obtain a license in Professional Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Experience in clinical practice is preferred.
