Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled and results-driven Systems Engineer to join Dematic's technical team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for the technical development, testing, and integration of our Dematic solution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support early development activities to ensure product meets internal targets
  • Provide technical guidance to quote team on timing, implementation, and technical issues
  • Develop key customer product documents, including system specifications, test plans, and validation criteria
  • Participate in internal and external customer meetings to ensure product meets customer specifications
  • Work with internal engineering teams on design and software development
  • Define and agree on interfaces between components, systems, and software
  • Provide support on site during installation and commissioning of product
  • Execute and support testing of products on site, including software acceptance testing, system integration testing, and system acceptance testing
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science or Technical Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Control Engineering
  • Master or Advanced Degree in Engineering is considered an asset
  • 7+ years' experience in engineering, with demonstrated experience in the material handling industry preferred
  • Functional leadership and expert communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to create technical documentation
  • Ability to be customer-facing and work effectively with teams
  • Willingness to travel for extended periods, approximately 40%+ annually
