About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at McLaren USA. As a key member of our surgical team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms for procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly disinfected and assembled.
  • Maintain a sterile field in the operating room, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Provide supportive care to patients during the pre-operative phase, including preparing their skin for surgery and monitoring vital signs.
  • Assist surgeons during procedures, passing sterile equipment and performing scrub functions as needed.
  • Ensure operating rooms are clean, sterile, and stocked prior to the next procedure.
  • Perform clerical duties, such as ordering supplies and maintaining logs.
  • Deliver compassionate support and attention to patients and families.
  • Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited surgical technology training program.
  • Certification as a surgical technologist from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
  • One month of job-related experience and/or training.
  • BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of experience in a medical setting.
