Job Description

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in Louisiana.

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced MRI Technologist to work in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients and coils on the MRI table to ensure accurate and safe imaging.
  • Inject contrast media as required and set technical parameters for optimal image quality.
  • Monitor patient safety and well-being during the imaging process.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
  • Eighteen months of MRI Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
