Job Title: Evening IOP Therapist

Pyramid Healthcare, a national leader in behavioral healthcare, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Evening IOP Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our outpatient treatment center in Harrisburg, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve long-term recovery from substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Intensive Outpatient group therapy sessions, family support adjunctive services, and conduct Level of Care Assessments per week.
  • Maintain one aftercare Outpatient therapy group for clients stepping down to lower levels of care.
  • Prepare materials for facilitating sessions and groups.
  • Maintain client files according to program standards.
  • Develop treatment planning goals through contact with clients, family, colleagues, and other staff.
  • Evaluate behavioral and emotional needs of clients and family members.
  • Maintain professional interpersonal communication with clients, referral sources, and company representatives.
  • Manage client files by having appropriate documents within the allowable time frames.
  • Attend meetings regarding client's progress.
  • Conduct insurance reviews and collect client co-pays.
  • Work a scheduled 40 hours per week, 5 days per week, and maintain a minimum number of completed session visits per week.
  • Attend training, staff meetings, and supervision as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for clients.
  • Maintain ethical boundaries with clients.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services or related field, working towards Master's Degree or licensure as a CADC/CAADC required.
  • Master's Degree in a Human Services or related field preferred.
