Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Behavior Services Manager to join our team at the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. As a key member of our Intervention Services department, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans that support the success of our students with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and monitor structured and individualized intervention programs, focusing on Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Collaborate with school teams to analyze student behavior and design behavior intervention strategies.
  • Work with community partners to maximize services for our scholars.
  • Attend training opportunities as assigned by the Director of Behavior Services and Executive Director of Intervention Services.
  • Maintain the privacy of all student-specific information, as required by HIPAA/FERPA.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Education, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • At least two years' experience developing and implementing Behavior Intervention Plans in an educational setting.
  • Experience in developing Behavior Support Plans, Behavior Intervention Plans, and individualized curriculum plans related to Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Individual Education Plan, with specific knowledge around sections related to transition and post-secondary planning.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to work with students, families, teachers, and administrators.
