Job Summary:

As a Caregiver with ModivCare, you will play a vital role in enabling clients to remain healthy and independent in their home and community settings. This position requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who is committed to providing professional, non-clinical personal care and caregiving services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with instrumental activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
  • Encourage self-care and independence in clients.
  • Provide medication reminders and maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe living environment.
  • Transport clients, as requested or approved.
  • Prepare meals and perform housekeeping and laundry duties.
  • Support clients in completing activities of daily living.

Requirements:
  • Desire to contribute to the well-being and quality of life of clients.
  • Competent in providing direct care to clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene improvement and maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and escalate unsafe or inappropriate home and community conditions.
  • Ability to navigate diverse client personalities and behaviors.
