Job Summary

GI Alliance is seeking an experienced CRNA - Float to provide high-quality anesthesia care in multiple site locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide versatile anesthesia care under the direction or delegation of a physician.
  • Travel to multiple locations within a specific region.
  • Perform preanesthetic assessment and consent.
  • Select and administer analgesic and anesthetic agents.
  • Manage airways and facilitate emergence and recovery from anesthesia.
  • Initiate and administer post-anesthesia pharmacological or fluid support.
  • Provide post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care.
  • Discharge patients from the post-anesthesia care unit.
Requirements
  • Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) required.
  • Valid CRNA certification required.
  • BLS, ACLS required.
  • Comply with applicable state statutory and regulatory licensure.
  • A minimum of one year or progressive work experience in a multispecialty physician group model preferred.
Performance Requirements
  • Ability to transport patients in stretchers to various rooms/locations.
  • Ability to perform clinically as a nurse anesthetist in the facility setting on a regular basis.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with various clinical staff.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients served.
Work Environment

This job operates in outpatient healthcare facilities.

Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell.

The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 150 pounds.
