Job Description

As an onsite preschool speech-language pathologist (SLP), you will support preschool-aged children with speech and language development, providing individualized therapy in a dynamic classroom environment. You will collaborate closely with teachers and families to create an engaging and supportive learning experience for each child.

  • Assess speech and language skills of preschool children and identify any needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and IEPs tailored to each child.
  • Provide direct therapy to children in one-on-one and group settings.
  • Work with teachers and families to reinforce language goals in the classroom and home environment.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress, and goals.
  • Participate in IEP meetings to track progress and discuss next steps for each child.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Active Massachusetts SLP license.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, though CFY candidates are welcome to apply.
  • Experience working with young children, especially in a preschool setting, is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with educators and families.
