As a key member of the Courtyard DFW Airport N Grapevine team, the Sous Chef will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our kitchen operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced culinary professional to join our team and contribute to delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement innovative menus that showcase the restaurant's vision and appeal to a diverse range of tastes and preferences.
Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service.
Organize and direct kitchen operations to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
Maintain accurate inventory records and manage kitchen budgets to optimize profitability.
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field and 2-4 years of experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
Proven track record of success in kitchen management, menu development, and staff training and development.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
Proficiency in Windows Operating Systems, Company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing software.
