Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate individual to join our team as the Director of Annual Giving and Events. This leadership role will be instrumental in driving our fundraising efforts, growing annual giving revenue, and organizing events that engage and inspire our donors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive annual giving strategy to increase donor engagement and revenue.
  • Lead the planning and production of fundraising events, including galas, community events, and donor recognition programs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with donors and sponsors through personalized communication, recognition, and engagement strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze fundraising performance metrics, providing regular reports on giving trends, donor retention, and overall fundraising success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and efficient resource allocation for fundraising campaigns and events.
  • Develop and manage the budget for annual giving and events, ensuring efficient use of resources while maximizing fundraising outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, marketing, communications, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising, with a focus on annual giving and event management.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and managing donor relationships, as well as growing annual fund programs.
  • Experience planning and executing high-profile fundraising events.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey passion for the organization's mission.
  • Proficiency in donor management systems and event management software.
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative problem-solver with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Passionate about the mission of hospice and palliative care.
