Job Overview

OWL Services is a leading provider of sales, installation, and service solutions to various industries, including retail, commercial, and industrial sectors.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will be responsible for assisting experienced electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in a commercial setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and electrical panels.
  • Work on projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks as required.
  • Use various testing devices related to the electrical and mechanical trades.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior electricians or supervisors.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Minimum of 3-8 years relevant work experience in a heavy commercial setting.
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems, machines, and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, schematics, specifications, codes, electrical formulas, and handbooks.
  • Preferably, minimum of four (4) hours formal training on the NFPA-70E code, understand arc-flash dynamics, hazard analysis, and PPE requirements for potential hazards.
  • Must have a current valid two forms of ID for employment.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft computer applications used for compiling data and work records.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a quality team member in a demanding service environment.
  • Ability to communicate with customers in a professional, effective manner.
  • TDLR license required.
  • Tradesman - must have 6-10 years' experience in a commercial setting.
  • A must pass a pre-employment UA drug screen.
