We are currently looking for passionate Rehabilitation Specialists to join our team in providing outstanding support to individuals in need of occupational therapy.

As a Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be instrumental in assisting clients to regain mobility and improve their overall functionality. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating client performance to facilitate engagement in meaningful health-related activities.
  • Delivering tailored occupational therapy interventions based on individual assessments.
  • Enhancing safety and efficiency in daily living tasks.
  • Instructing clients on effective task strategies and activity segmentation.
  • Recommending modifications to home environments and suggesting adaptive tools.
  • Providing support to family members and caregivers.
  • Tracking progress towards therapeutic goals and maintaining thorough documentation.
  • Overseeing the work of Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).

Essential qualifications for this position include:

  • Proven experience as a rehabilitation specialist.
  • In-depth understanding of occupational therapy methodologies.
  • Competence in utilizing computer applications and creative tools.
  • Familiarity with activities of daily living (ADL) assessment instruments.
  • Ability to engage with clients of varied personalities.
  • A commitment to ongoing education and professional growth.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication abilities.
  • A valid occupational therapy license in Ohio.
