Custodian Substitute

Fremont Unified School District (FUSD) is a thriving educational community serving approximately 33,000 students in grades TK-12. Our district comprises 44 schools, with a diverse range of facilities and departments that support student success.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Substitute Custodian to join our facilities team. As a Substitute Custodian, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our schools.

• Clean and maintain school facilities, including classrooms, hallways, and restrooms
• Operate and maintain custodial equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and mops
• Restock supplies and materials as needed
• Assist with special events and projects as required

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including mornings, afternoons, and occasional weekends
