Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sonographer to join our team at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center. As a Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of technical procedures, including ultrasound exams, to diagnose and treat diseases.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functioning.
  • Position patients for exams, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Verify patient information and ensure proper identification.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Sonography Program.
  • Registered Medical Sonographer (RMS) or ARRT Sonography certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • At least 1 year of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ultrasound equipment and software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility with work hours and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
