We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant or LPN to join our team at Mercy. As a key member of our occupational health team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.
Responsibilities- Handle patient phone calls, providing triaging, instruction, and follow-up as needed.
- Maintain exam rooms, supplies, equipment, and medications to ensure a clean and safe environment.
- Assist physicians and nurses in providing patient care to clinic patients under the supervision of physicians/nurse practitioners and leaders.
- Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
- Medical Assistant:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must obtain BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
- Preferred experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience.
- LPN:
- Diploma in Practical Nursing.
- Active LPN licensure.
- Preferred experience: 6 months of clinical healthcare experience, preferably in a primary care office.
