The CCS Program Coordinator is tasked with overseeing the planning, direction, and management of the JFS CCS initiatives. This role includes ensuring meticulous record-keeping and file management for the CCS team, ensuring adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, policies, and procedures. The Coordinator will also spearhead the growth and enhancement of the JFS CCS programs through strategic marketing, quality assurance, productivity monitoring, and data analysis to establish clear project management goals under the guidance of the Director of Social Services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead program staff, providing orientation and training, planning work assignments, setting and maintaining performance objectives, and conducting staff evaluations; involved in the recruitment and hiring processes.
  • Oversee the credentialing status of CCS personnel to ensure ongoing compliance with service contracts and regulatory standards.
  • Uphold consumer confidentiality across all levels and formats.
  • Act as the representative for JFS and the CCS program to various stakeholders, including community organizations, funding bodies, regulatory agencies, and professional entities, serving as the primary liaison.
  • Ensure compliance with all documentation, reporting, and service delivery obligations associated with contracts and agreements.
  • Serve as a CCS Mental Health/Substance Abuse Professional in the absence of staff for consultations.
  • Manage and maintain database systems and consumer records in accordance with county, state, and federal regulations.
  • Monitor billing eligibility for all CCS consumers to align with Medicaid requirements.
  • Evaluate and implement all relevant DHHS, CARS, and CCS policies as mandated by DHS 36 statute.

General Requirements

  • Possess a valid driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, and automobile insurance throughout employment; must successfully pass a motor vehicle record and insurability check.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of Jewish culture and traditions, as well as those relevant to the Agency's population.
  • Accept additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Pass a criminal background check with the Wisconsin Department of Justice and a caregiver background check with relevant state departments.
  • Provide documentation or verified medical exemption for immunizations and screenings, including Tuberculosis, Flu, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella.
  • Hold a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, School or Educational Psychology, Counseling and Guidance, Counseling Psychology, or Social Work preferred.
  • Complete 3000 hours of supervised clinical experience primarily with clients facing mental health or substance-use challenges.
  • Maintain a valid Wisconsin license from one of the Examining Boards: Social Work (preferred), Marriage and Family Therapy, or Professional Counselors (LCSW, LMFT, LPC), in good standing.
  • Meet the qualifications of a CCS Mental Health Professional as outlined in WI Chapter DHS b) (1) and (3).
  • Fulfill the requirements of a Substance Abuse Professional as specified in WI Chapter DHS b) (1) and (3); SAC credentials are preferred.
  • Possess at least 2 years of case management experience with adults and/or youth; CCS experience is preferred.
  • Have a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in case management with demonstrated increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Familiarity with various case management systems (TCM, CSP, Wraparound Milwaukee, My Choice Family Care, etc.) is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Exhibit strong leadership qualities and maintain high standards of professional conduct for oneself and staff.
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organizational, critical thinking, problem-solving, and independent thinking skills.
  • Possess outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Show clinical and cultural competency necessary to fulfill assigned job responsibilities.
  • Effectively interact with consumers, agency staff, and other community professionals within a collaborative framework.
  • Have knowledge of CCS and community resources and services.
  • Be proficient in the use of Electronic Health Record (EHR) management systems.
  • Exhibit proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and service provider documentation systems.
