Job Summary:

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for managing all payroll activities to ensure timely and accurate payment of employee wages. This role involves collecting necessary information and documents related to payroll and employee benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Record and maintain employee records and payroll transactions.
  • Update payroll information for promotions, transfers, terminations, and new hires.
  • Monitor timesheet edits to ensure timely approval and correction.
  • Process electronic payments and distribute payroll checks.
  • Answer questions and resolve issues regarding payroll and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, tax, and deduction laws.
  • Prepare payroll reports for management.
  • Assist employees with timekeeping and direct deposit setup.
  • Collect and pay benefits, including medical, dental, and 401K.
Requirements:
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Experience in payroll administration.
  • Working knowledge of accounting practices and tax laws.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and people skills.
