Quality Assurance Specialist
Nestlé Purina is a leader in the pet care industry, with a strong commitment to quality assurance. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, FSSC, and corporate standards. Your responsibilities will include managing quality management systems, leading change control programs, and developing and implementing quality training programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage quality management systems, including document control, change control, and internal auditing
- Lead change control programs to ensure plant personnel can perform functions with minimal guidance and support
- Develop and implement quality training programs to ensure compliance with NQMS requirements
- Manage the overall quality corrective action program to ensure compliance and provide direction for improvement
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2 years' experience in a manufacturing facility
- Knowledge of HACCP, auditing/testing, quality systems, continuous improvement programs, and basic computer systems knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
- PCQI (Preventive Controls Qualified Individual) Certification
