Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Kula, Hawaii. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and services to our patients and families.
Job Summary:As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering nursing care and services to patients and families. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to our patients. Your expertise and skills will be essential in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Essential Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care and services to patients and families, including assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing interventions.
- Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
- Utilize the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care and services.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Teach patients and families about health and wellness, disease prevention, and management.
- Document patient care and services in a timely and accurate manner.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Basic Life Support OR CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers certification.
- Registered Nurse License (Hawaii) required at hire.
- Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in adaptability, change management, decision making, detail oriented, customer service, influence, interpersonal relations, oral communication, prioritization, problem solving, quality management, results orientation, system thinking, teamwork, time management, and written communication competencies.
- One (1) year experience in area of specialty or completion of a formal course in area of specialty within a designated period of time after hire into the specialty.
