Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team at Charlestowne Hotels. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences, crafting signature cocktails, and offering recommendations on local craft beers and wines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages to bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess customers' needs and preferences and make personalized recommendations
• Mix and prepare cocktails, beers, and wines to exacting standards
• Plan and present the bar menu, ensuring a diverse and appealing selection
• Check customers' identification and confirm their age to ensure compliance with regulations
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies, maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Stay focused on providing exceptional guest experiences, responding to customer needs, and promoting a positive atmosphere
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for guests and staff
• Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of classic cocktails, as well as the ability to create new and innovative drinks
• Exemplify outstanding communication skills, building strong relationships with customers and colleagues
• Check in with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
• Embody a strong work ethic, maintaining a clean and tidy workspace, and adhering to company standards
• Complete opening and closing duties, following established procedures and protocols
• Adhere to cash handling policies, accurately processing transactions and providing guests with clear and concise information
• Participate in inventory management, maintaining adequate par levels and controlling pour costs

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of mixology, garnishing, and serving techniques
• Computer literacy and proficiency in point-of-sale systems
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring a positive guest experience
• Relevant training certificate or equivalent experience
