Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, evidence-based treatment to patients with a range of mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations and provide diagnosis from the Diagnostic Statistical Manual (DSM) based on evaluation findings.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including empirically-based treatments such as CBT, ACT, and DBT.
  • Provide psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, families, and groups, and evaluate treatment effectiveness through periodic reassessment.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
  • Supervise trainees and less experienced staff, and participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in the field.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree from an APA-accredited program in Clinical Psychology (PhD or PsyD).
  • Completion of APA-approved internship in Adult Clinical and/or Pediatric Psychology.
  • Minimum 5 years related clinical experience serving patients across the mental health and work-related spectrum.
  • Experience providing clinical training and supervision, and a commitment to training the next generation of psychologists.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Google Suite platforms.
