Hydrographic Surveyor/GPS Technician

Job Summary:
Sevenson Environmental Services, Inc. is seeking a skilled Hydrographic Surveyor/GPS Technician to support our dredging and capping operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hydrographic surveying and GPS technology, with experience in data collection and processing.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with daily reporting for dredging and capping production estimates
* Install Dredgepack/Trimble Machine Control Software, GPS, and inclinometers during project mobilization
* Troubleshoot GPS equipment, cables, inclinometers, and software as needed
* Perform single/multi beam hydrographic surveys using Hypack
* Process survey data and present the data
* Perform hydrographic surveys and present survey data to the owner
Requirements:
* Bachelor of Science in an Engineering related discipline with a minimum of three years' of experience
* Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
* Understanding of Trimble Global Positioning Equipment (GPS)
* Proficient in MS Office Suite
* Understanding of Trimble Machine Control, Hypack, and Dredgepack Software
* Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
* Train new hires to perform hydrographic surveys and dredge positioning systems
