Southeast Health is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Surgeon to join their well-established hospital-employed practice. As a member of our team, you will have access to a robust interventional, non-invasive, and structural heart program, offering a wide range of cardiac and thoracic cases.
Our Medical Center has a strong reputation for patient safety, ranking in the top 10 percent nationally for heart attack, interventional coronary, and vascular care. You will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the success of our Cardiovascular program.
Practice Highlights:- Hospital-employed opportunity with Southeast Health Medical Group
- Practice at one location, with no travel required
- Clinic located on Southeast Health's campus for easy access to hospital, OR, etc.
- APP's assist in the OR, perform vein harvesting, facilitate rounds, and see patients in post-op clinic
- Call shared at 1:3
- Robust IM Hospitalist service provides medical consult support for non-surgical illnesses
- Exceptional referral-base with strong Cardiology and Primary Care sources
- Completion (or anticipated completion) of an ACGME-accredited Cardiovascular or Cardiothoracic residency or fellowship
- Eligibility to obtain an Alabama state medical license and DEA
- Must be board-certified or board-eligible at the time of hire
- Guaranteed base annual salary with productivity bonus potential
- $100,000 signing bonus package

- CME and professional dues allowances
- PTO as well as additional days dedicated for CME
