Your Key Responsibilities
- Lead the category management for steel and rolling elements in the North American industrial business division.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive category strategy to drive cost savings and improve supplier relationships.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers to ensure seamless collaboration and mutual success.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with supplier performance, quality, and logistics.
Your Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25% for business purposes.
Preferred:
- Experience working with steel and rolling elements.
