Job Summary

As a Turret Driver at Dorman Products, you will play a critical role in the safe, accurate, and efficient fulfillment of customer orders for timely delivery. You will operate motorized industrial equipment, such as a sit-down turret truck, to perform a variety of tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate motorized industrial equipment, including sit-down turret trucks, to move products throughout the facility.
  • Perform daily checks of equipment prior to operating to ensure safe and efficient use.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Use hand-held or truck-mounted radio frequency (RF) scanners to accurately track inventory and manage orders.
  • Rotate positions and jobs as required to meet business needs.
  • Replenish picking locations and stock product into bins and carton flow racking.
  • Use carts, manual and electric pallet jacks during picking, replenishment, and stocking.
  • Identify and document location discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Participate in department meetings and projects to contribute to business growth and improvement.
Requirements
  • Ability to pass the motorized industrial equipment test and obtain a license.
  • Ability to use Radio Frequency (RF) scanners and other equipment safely and accurately.
  • Good math skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet business objectives.
  • Legible handwriting and basic keyboarding skills to maintain accurate records.
  • Meet safety, accuracy, productivity, and housekeeping minimum standards.
  • Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
