Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Pneudraulic Systems Mechanic to join our team at the Air National Guard Units. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and operational checks on assigned pneudraulic systems, troubleshooting and repairing complex issues, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance and operational checks on assigned pneudraulic systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex issues with pneudraulic systems and components
  • Inspect and test pneudraulic systems and components for operation, internal, and external leakage and servicing
  • Operate portable test stands for checkout of pneudraulic systems
  • Remove, install, and/or repair pneudraulic components from aircraft and associated aerospace ground equipment
  • Investigate pneudraulic failures to determine causes and accomplish corrective maintenance
Requirements
  • Experience in the maintenance and repair of pneudraulic systems and components
  • Knowledge of basic electrical and mechanical principles
  • Ability to use technical manuals, equipment specifications, and test calibration procedures in performing the work
  • Experience in fabricating fuel, oil, and vacuum hose lines
  • Experience in servicing, maintaining, disassembling, assembling, repairing, and testing hydraulic and pneumatic systems
