Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to join our team at Metropolitan Healthcare Services, Inc. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms and equipment for surgical procedures, ensuring that all necessary supplies and instruments are available.
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of sterilization, cleaning, and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Certification as a Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA) or equivalent.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • One year of experience in a surgical setting or related field.
  • CPR certification required.
