Job Description

Construction Project Manager - Architectural Metals and Glass Fabrication

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have experience working with metal and glass fabrication/installation and possess strong project management skills.

  • Track construction document changes and ensure project dates are met.
  • Coordinate with the General Contractor, Architect, and Subcontractors to ensure project completion.
  • Communicate with clients on tasks that need to be completed for our company to perform contractual work.
  • Resolve issues and conflicts that arise during construction and make decisions to keep the project on track.
  • Track submittals, change orders, and costs in relation to the estimate.
  • Manage construction project schedules from submittal, fabrication, and installation perspectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Communication: Communicate with clients, General Contractors, Architects, and Subcontractors to ensure project completion.
  • Issue Resolution: Resolve issues and conflicts that arise during construction.
  • Tracking: Track submittals, change orders, and costs in relation to the estimate.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience on large complex commercial construction projects.
  • Experience working with metal and glass fabrication/installation is highly desired.
  • Strong project management skills, including schedule building and construction drawings.
  • Ability to analyze crew sizes and material needs for self-perform activities.
  • Experience comparing self-perform pricing against historical costs and productivity.
  • Aware of union trade wage hour restrictions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation:

  • Base salary in the 75k – 120k/year range.
  • Annual bonus potential.
