You will also be responsible for monitoring patient vital signs, administering non-sterile soaks, and applying simple dressings. Additionally, you will perform data collection, including vital signs, fluid intake and output, and basic and sterile specimen collection. You will document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Monitor patient vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Administer non-sterile soaks and apply simple dressings as delegated by the RN.
- Perform data collection, including vital signs, fluid intake and output, and basic and sterile specimen collection.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a nursing assistant or patient care tech program.
- CNA certification.
This is a part-time night shift position at Greenville Memorial Hospital. You will be working in the Cardiac Telemetry Department, providing patient care to individuals with cardiac conditions.
