Job Summary

SpaceX is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Component Installation: Install new electrical and electronic components, including hydraulic and pneumatic devices, to meet the needs of our operations.
  • System Testing: Test electrical circuits to ensure they are functioning properly and make any necessary repairs.
  • Code Compliance: Ensure all electrical work is performed in accordance with relevant codes and regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teams to identify and implement efficient solutions to electrical system challenges.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience as an electrician or in a related field.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including circuit analysis and troubleshooting. Ability to read and understand technical manuals and reports.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SpaceX Experience: Experience working with SpaceX electrical systems.
  • Efficiency: Ability to identify and implement efficient paths of action to complete assigned work.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to use a variety of electrician's hand tools, as well as measuring and testing instruments.
  • Code Knowledge: Demonstrable knowledge and/or understanding of codes, rules, regulations, and standards of electrical equipment.
Work Environment

As an Electrical Systems Specialist at SpaceX, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with a team of highly skilled professionals. You will be required to work 50 hour weeks on average, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
