Physician - Neurohospitalist

We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist to join our team at Ascension St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL. As a Neurohospitalist, you will be part of a team of two Neurohospitalists and two nurse practitioners to provide consultations to patients with neurological disorders in the ER, inpatient and intensive care.
Responsibilities- Provide medical services to patients with neurological disorders in the ER, inpatient and intensive care.
- Interpret EEG and conduct EMG studies.
- Collaborate with hospitalists, specialty physicians and primary care physicians as appropriate.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.
