Firefighter/EMT

As a Firefighter/EMT with the City of Stuart, FL, you will play a critical role in responding to emergencies and providing life-saving care to those in need. This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a strong commitment to public service and a passion for helping others.

• Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care and transportation to patients
• Operate fire apparatus and equipment, including pumps, ladders, and hoses
• Participate in training and drills to maintain and improve skills and knowledge
• Collaborate with other emergency responders and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
• Perform daily inspections and maintenance of equipment and apparatus

• High school diploma or equivalent
• State of Florida certification as a Firefighter and EMT
• Basic Life Support CPR certificate
• Valid State of Florida Class E Driver's License and certificate of completion of an approved Emergency Vehicle Operators Course (EVOC)
