Cashier/Clerk

At MWS Enterprises, Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier/Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

1. Customer Service: Greet each customer with a warm and welcoming smile, and provide assistance with their shopping needs.
2. Transaction Processing: Accurately and efficiently process customer transactions, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a high level of accuracy.
3. Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stockroom, and customer areas.
4. Inventory Management: Receive and process merchandise, complete invoices, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
5. Health and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
6. Loss Prevention: Minimize controllable store expenses, reduce theft loss and shrinkage, and maintain a high level of honesty and integrity in the workplace.
7. Communication: Effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management, and provide clear and concise information.
8. Time Management: Manage time effectively, meeting deadlines and completing tasks in a timely manner.
9. Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals, maintain a positive and supportive team environment, and provide assistance as needed.

Requirements:

• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and carry up to 5 feet high
• Ability to push/pull brooms or mops to clean floors and parking areas
• Ability to work in temperatures of 40 degrees for up to 15 minutes
• Ability to climb a ladder to clean windows
• Ability to tolerate chemicals in the cleaning of counters, floors, and other facilities
