Position Overview: We are seeking a proficient Cook II to contribute to our culinary operations.
Company Overview: Odessa Marriott Hotel and Conference Center is an at-will employer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support food preparation across various dining venues
- Uphold the highest standards in culinary production
- Engage in all interactions with a friendly, service-focused attitude
- Comply with company protocols for safe and efficient kitchen operations
- Ensure adherence to certification standards
- Maintain a welcoming and friendly presence
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of menus and food preparation techniques
- Manage kitchen activities to guarantee efficiency and quality
- Prepare meals for banquets and staff dining
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation within the kitchen environment
- Enforce safety guidelines and organizational policies
- Assist in training staff and maintaining kitchen equipment
- Participate in management meetings as necessary
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
